This large job in Firle which we have been back and forth to for 2 years, began with groundworks, including the following:
- Machine work & muck away
- Footings dug and concreted including some underpinning
- Block retaining wall
- Foul and rainwater drainage, including a soakaway and rain water harvesting tank
- New concrete chambers and manhole connection
- Services ran across site (water, electric, ducting and more)
The latter stage of the job was to return for the landscaping. After stripping the back garden back to a blank canvas and reducing levels following architects plans, we set about the following:
- Brick edgings laid to shape the garden
- Self binding gravel areas and pathways
- Flower beds filled with topsoil & manure mix
- Lawn turfed
- Brick steps
- Reclaimed brick patio
Work on the project will be ongoing.
