Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to the details you send us through this website. RF Construction is responsible for that information (the “data controller”). You can reach us at milo@rf.construction or on 07933 670436.

What we collect

When you send a quote request we receive your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the details of your job and any photos you attach. We don’t run accounts, comments or a mailing list on this site.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a consultation, quote for the work and, if you go ahead, carry it out. We rely on two lawful bases for this: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us for a quote. We don’t sell your details or use them for marketing.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are sent to our email by our website host, Cloudflare. To filter out spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at technical details of your visit, such as your IP address and browser, to tell people from automated programs. Cloudflare is based in the United States, so your details may be processed there under the safeguards in its data processing terms.

Like most websites, our host keeps server logs of visits to the site, including IP addresses, to run the site and keep it secure.

How long we keep it

If you don’t go ahead, we delete your enquiry once it’s no longer needed. If you do, we keep job records for as long as we need them for tax and legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, and you can object to how we use it. Email milo@rf.construction and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
